How do we know Dinosaurs lived?

This morning we got sidetracked and started talking about how we know dinosaurs lived.
We came up with TWO good reasons:
1) Scientists have found skeletons.
2) There are dinosaurs in the bible.

Job 40:15-18

Look at the BEHEMOTH,
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.
What strength he has in his loins,
what power in the muscles of his belly!
His tail sways like a cedar;
the sinews of his thighs are close-knit.
His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like rods of iron.

I have enjoyed learning so much about dinosaurs from your website.
I wonder which dinosaur would have made the best pet!
I think I would choose a triceratops to mow my lawn (though grass wasn't around in dinosaur times), and an ornithomimid (an ostrich-like dinosaur) to ride around on. But the best for inside the house might be a compsognathus, about the size of a big chicken. I just hope it could be house-trained!
